The annual Vaisakhi Khalsa Day Parade is organized every year to celebrate the Sikhism’s formalization as Khalsa Community and five articles of faith. It is a celebration of coming together to pray for the well-being of all humanity through a Nagar Kirtan (nagar means town and kirtan means singing divine hymns from Guru Granth Sahib, the scriptural canon of Sikhs).
